Welcome to Fuchsia Tours

Explore the Isle of Man with a Local Guide

Hello, I’m Jacqueline Yates, a Manx-born and Blue Badge registered tour guide.
I love showing visitors from all over the world what makes our Island so special, its landscape, history, folklore and warm hospitality.

Whether you’re looking for a walking tour of Douglas, a private Island tour, or a heritage experience using our historic trams and railways, every trip is personalised.

Tours are available in English or French, and can be tailored to your specific interests, from wildlife and nature to music, architecture, or social history.

Discover the Isle of Man

The Isle of Man sits in the heart of the Irish Sea between England and Ireland.

It has its own parliament (Tynwald), unique currency, stamps and signage and centuries of fascinating stories. It even has its own unique language, Manx Gaelic.

You’ll find a mix of Celtic, Viking, and Victorian heritage across its towns and countryside, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Why Choose Fuchsia Tours

Fuchsia Tours takes its name from the wild fuchsia bushes that grow across the Isle of Man, a plant many of us consider a national flower. Their colour and resilience reflect the character of our Island and the warmth you’ll find here.

I design every tour to suit the people who travel with me.
Whether you’re looking for adventure, a safe and relaxed pace, an experience filled with memories, or simply the chance to explore places only locals know, your tour will be shaped around what matters to you.

Booking directly through my website means you deal with me from the start.

There are no third-party commissions, and you receive a more personal service. I take on a limited number of bookings each year, so you’ll always have my full attention and the flexibility to tailor your visit exactly as you wish.

Discover the hidden stories, landscapes and people that make the Isle of Man such a special place to explore.
